I began journaling at age 13 and continue to do so nearly every day. I've always been an avid reader and felt an urge to record and reflect on my experiences.
For my Creative Writing thesis at UW-Madison, I wrote the semi-autobiographical novella I'd Rather Be Alone Than Be With You. It is a reflection on the generational patterns we sometimes find ourselves in, and a love story without a redemptive ending. It is forthcoming as an e-book. You can listen to an excerpted short story from it read by me in the Jammiest Bits of Jam podcast below (it's the first story). More recently, I lovingly handcrafted profiles of 30 San Francisco neighborhoods for a website offering resources for those looking to move to San Francisco from abroad. You can find them on their website at Good Migrations.
